Hair Saloon Continues its Nationwide Expansion with New Franchise Agreement in Houston, Texas

With existing franchise commitments, Hair Saloon is on track to double in 3 years

Hair Saloon has awarded a new multi-unit franchise agreement that will bring the St. Louis brand to Houston, Texas. The announcement follows a series of growth initiatives for the company over the last 18 months, including the addition of new Hair Saloon locations in St. Louis, as well as the expansion to Louisville, Kentucky and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with multi-unit franchise agreements. The Houston franchise group, owned by Raul and Maria Rivera, expects to open their first Hair Saloon within the next year.

“After reviewing a number of business opportunities, we were ultimately drawn to Hair Saloon because it is a proven successful business model and offers customers outstanding, personalized service,” said Raul Rivera. “Hair Saloon offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for men of all ages, which is a favorable contrast to others in the market. Customers are greeted with a stylish, yet traditional décor which is reminiscent of the corner barber shops of past generations. There’s nothing like this in Houston, and we believe it will attract men who are looking for a more personalized and relaxing experience.”

The initial goal is to open three saloons in the Houston market within the next few years. While exact locations have not yet been identified, the Riveras are exploring several sites in the Katy area.

Prior to becoming a Hair Saloon franchisee, both of the Riveras were engineers.

While Hair Saloon has been expanding into new markets, there remains a great deal of growth in the company’s home base of St. Louis. Four new stores have opened over the last two years, with the most recent addition in April, 2018 in Richmond Heights, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.
